On April 10, 2025, the Indian Ocean Commission will take part in the webinar “The Intersection of Culture and Climate Change”, hosted by the G20 Culture Working Group under the South African presidency, in partnership with UNESCO.
This will be an opportunity to reaffirm that culture is a powerful driver of resilience in the face of environmental challenges, by highlighting regional initiatives: traditional knowledge systems, regional artistic cooperation, and engaged storytelling.
